In 2017 I made the commitment to get professional training in this space so maybe, just maybe - I could help others realize their full potential as my mentors have done for me. Today, I am a Certified Life Coach (Expert Rating Credential ID 3238371. Life coaching focuses on what's happening in the present, what a person wants next, and how that gap can be bridged. To be effective in this trust and transparency must be established between the coach and the client.

In this role, I led a team of business consultants for the Flexographic Printing and Packaging industries. My team was constructed of industry experts that are professional “listeners”. We truly believed in going slow to go fast and taking the time to understand clients needs, as opposed to their “wants” (OK, sometimes we give people what they want). We helped build and integrate sustainable, scalable solutions that that transformed organizations from good; to great. In this role, there was P&L Responsibility. We increased Digital Technology sales 43% and GP 11%during the time in position.

In this role I was responsible for the corporate brand identity and client engagement for Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. which include subsidiaries Nova Polymers, Inc. and The Provident Group, Inc. We utilize salesforce.com for our CRM, Hubspot, and a variety of other provocative and leading-edge automated marketing and social interaction solutions to deliver relevant information and education to our markets. The re-branding of A&V led to a 37% increase in Qualified Sales Leads from digital platforms over five years.

Nova Polymers, Inc.

Nova, a subsidiary of Anderson & Vreeland, manufactures materials and equipment that are used to fabricate signage that meets international accessibility standards, helping those with visual disabilities more easily navigate the global built environment. I was fortunate enough to lead a team of talented, unique, well versed and strong-willed people that challenge the norm every day. In this role, Nova was approved to be an AIA (American Institute of Architects) certified Continuing Education System Provider. I developed content around accessibility standards and presented to 1000's of Architects and Designers around the world (Qatar, UAE, Spain, Canada, Jordan, Nigeria and Turkey)

The John Henry Company (now Multi Packaging Solutions company) is printer of pharmaceutical & horticultural packaging. My role in the company from a technical perspective was to provide direction as it related to all printing and imaging technologies. The most rewarding part of my responsibilities (as it always is) was specific to the coaching & mentoring of future leaders within our organization. We helped our employees understand different leadership styles (forceful vs.enabling) and how to utilize systemic problem-solving tools. Operational responsibilities included P & L oversight, defining the forward vision for the Pre Media, Printing, and Enabling Technologies business units located in MI, CA and NC.

I was the inaugural chair for what is today known as "Converge," an event for C-Level thought leaders in our industry. Primary Representative to ANSI A117 Accessibility Committee

Society For Experiential Graphic Design

An active member of the Society for Experiential Graphic Designs (SEGD) for many years. The primary representative for the ANSI A117 Committee. The A117.1 Committee works to improve the model code on accessibility. Changes in the code can eventually appear in state and local building codes or in a future update to the U.S. government’s Standards for Accessible Design (SAD).
